Description

Faith’s Blue Moon Venus Cutaway Electro looks as if it was carved from a midnight sky that flickers with hidden starlight. A translucent Blue Moon burst floats over solid mango timber, and the finish is swept right across the back and sides so ribbons of pale sapwood glow against pools of deep indigo. Because the top, back, and sides share a single tonewood, the voice is unusually coherent: low mids bloom with a dark warmth, trebles arrive soft yet clear, and the sustain lingers with a hushed piano-like fade. The Venus body itself balances comfort and power, keeping a fifteen-inch lower bout for healthy air movement while trimming the depth so the guitar hugs close during long writing sessions. A softly bevelled cutaway pairs with Patrick James Eggle’s bolt-on joint to leave the heel compact, so melodic excursions past the twelfth fret feel natural.

Under the hood a web of hand-scalloped spruce braces in a forward X pattern holds the mango top light yet secure. The bracing lets the diaphragm respond quickly to a fingertip while keeping definition intact when you dig in with a pick. A mahogany neck finished in satin slips easily through the palm, and a Macassan ebony fingerboard with a flat sixteen-inch radius invites wide bends without clutter. Scale length sits at a lively six hundred forty-five millimetres which keeps string tension crisp for articulate chordwork yet still allows easy vibrato. Ebony also forms the bridge and bridge pins, and bone sits at nut and saddle so every ounce of string energy travels straight into the soundboard.

Stage volume is handled by Fishman’s INK3 system, a compact side panel that tucks discreetly into the rim. An undersaddle sensor carries sparkle and presence while an onboard tuner, contour EQ, and phase switch offer quick control between songs. Plugged in, the guitar’s natural mid-focus translates with very little effort and the phase button reins in low-frequency rumble under bright lights. Hardware stays dependable and tasteful: Grover Rotomatic chrome tuners glide in precise half turns, flamed maple binding frames the entire body in a halo of amber flame, and an abalone rosette circles the sound-hole with a thin band of colour. A deluxe wood-shell hard case arrives in the carton, ready for the next tour van or studio call.

Features

Solid Mango Construction

Every structural plate comes from seasoned Indonesian mango which supplies a moody voice rich in low mids, restrained in upper overtones, and naturally resistant to feedback, making the guitar equally comfortable in a living room or under stage monitors.

Forward-Shifted Spruce Bracing

Hand-scalloped quarter-sawn spruce struts form a forward X that breathes under light touch yet stays stiff enough for aggressive rhythm work, giving the top wide dynamic range without losing clarity.

Venus Auditorium Body with Slim Cutaway

A fifteen-inch lower bout and reduced body depth create a lively projection that never feels boomy, while the elegant Venetian cutaway and compact bolt-on heel open full access to upper registers for melodic lines and modern chord shapes.

Macassan Ebony and Flamed Maple Appointments

Dense ebony for fingerboard, bridge, pins, and headplate delivers fast attack and long sustain, and solid flamed maple binding traces every edge with a vivid golden accent that complements the shifting blue burst.

Fishman INK3 Electronics and Hard Case

The INK3 preamp offers volume, contour EQ, phase, and bright tuner controls in a flush housing, sending a ready-to-mix signal to any desk, and the included plush-lined wood-shell case keeps the instrument safe between venues.
