Description

Godin has an understated pedigree in their build quality and craftsmanship. The necks and bodies of Godin guitars are made at La Patrie in Quebec from wood sourced from woodlands owned by Godin. The guitars are then assembled in New Hampshire and Quebec factories where Godin’s experts ensure their guitars are pieced together with utmost skill and care. For what is a Canadian/American made guitar Godin is very affordable in part because of Godin’s in house and independent build order and components. The Session is intended to be a versatile and unopinionated instrument, capable of being used across many genres of music. With the HSS construction using Godin’s own pickups this instrument has warm and clear single coil tone on the neck and powerful noise free humbucking tone on the bridge. With a 12” fingerboard radius and 25.5” scale length with 22 frets this guitar feels familiar and comfortable to mostly anyone’s playing style. The Godin Tru-Loc tremolo is practical, with a very stable and easy to install tremolo arm versatile enough for large pitch dives or subtle vibrato accents.
